Within the project #BeCircular, Gauss Institute Bitola realized a “Train the Trainers” Seminar participation on Circular Economy & BioEconomy, in Kozani, Greece. The hosts – DIADYMA’s & CluBE welcomed Renata Petrevska Nechkoska and Mimoza Bogdanoska Jovanovska, as well as the ZMAI representatives in their premises, showcasing their approach, systems, cluster, positioning and effects to the Western Macedonia and Greece’s Circular Economy – in theory and practice! The workshop also incorporated participation in an event in the central square of Kozani related to Βioeconomy, BECircular and 100 Climate neutral and smart cities, with educational activities for children and young adults on recycling and waste management awareness. The participants met with the Mayor of Kozani and networked with numerous representatives of businesses and education. The transfer of skills in CBC area will continue with training seminars for trainers on CE & BE (recycling, repair & reuse, biowaste) in MK side using GR partners expertise with students, entrepreneurs, civil society members and civil servants, during December 2022. The BeCircular project (Interreg-IPA CBC Greece – Republic of North Macedonia) enlists numerous activities and investments, through which Gauss Institute Bitola and ZMAI Skopje will improve the region’s capabilities on Becoming more Circular.
