SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE SUMMER SCHOOL OF SCIENCE – LOVCEN 2023 WITH MACEDONIAN PARTICIPANTS! Video 1/2 As part of a project supported by the European Union and the Western Balkans Fund, the Summer School of Science was held this year for the 16th time, in Lovcen, Montenegro, organized by our partners Prona – Montenegrin Science Promotion Foundation – Foundation for promoting science from Montenegro, and Udruzenje Osvezenje. For decades, the most talented high school and elementary school students have taken part in it, and the lecturers are numerous professors from the region, as well as guests from the world universities of Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, Lomonosov, etc. Our young talents participated for the first time in this traditionally outstanding summer school, who worked diligently from August 10-15, 2023 in Ivanovi Korita in Lovcen, in lectures, workshops, and also with experimental and independent productions in the fields of chemistry, biology, physics. , electronics, astronomy, mathematics and medicine. The coordinator of the group, a long-time collaborator of the GAUSS Institute, Dr. Renata Petrevska Nechkoska Renata PN, professor at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski Bitola and a postdoctoral fellow at the Ghent University in Belgium led the exceptional: – Iskra Nechakovska, Secondary School “Josip Broz Tito” Bitola – Oleg Trajkovski, Secondary School “Josip Broz Tito” Bitola – Mihail Naumovski, SOTU GYORGJI NAUMOV – BITOLA – Jana Popovska, “Josip Broz Tito” High School Bitola – Sara Naumovska, Secondary School “Josip Broz Tito” High School Bitola Primary school student Noela Nechkoska also joined the group. Listen to Noela, a program for young people, UKLO FM, who, in the role of a junior demonstrator together with her mother – the teacher, held workshop on the topic: OPPORTUNISTIC CREATION & SCIENCE COMMUNICATION for the participants of the summer school, with the presentation of ethnographic experiences from its own experimental approach in opportunistic creativity and gamification of learning, aimed at young people in science. They worked hard, worked hard, made friends and won prizes in team challenges – our young people were a significant factor in the school, and opened the door for future generations. We thank the hosts Prona – Montenegrin Science Promotion Foundation – they were extraordinary and complete in the combination of science, art, nature, friendship – progress!
